Just curious, my friend asked if he should go with the name dizzyhost.com the idea being low cost hosting "dizzy hosting at dizzy prices"

I'm not sure, what do you think?

It's just a name. Prices that make your head spin, something catchy.

You know? I'd check them out.

I've seen worse names. Names you could not even pronounce and they seem to be doing good business. But dizzyhost.com is a good, marketable name.

Funny when i ask the people on here they are positive, ive asked a few other people off the forum and they have been more nagative saying that dizzy is associated with stupid etc.

Its not hte name but its the service and speed. I have bought from host before that i couldnt even pronounce there name and from others that made no since. You dont have have the coolest name to be great. Just look around like Yahoo and Google...those are werid names but they seem to be making more than i could ever dream of making. Really i think the name is marketble and so forth. Heck i know ppl that have named their company off of their screen names. Really just make sure you have good quality and professional look and you will make it in the online world. Most people dont care aobut your name...at least most people i know.

Thanks all, i just bought the domain and i intend to work on it with my friend as i mentioned, my personal hosting company (look at sig) is for UK hosting and doesn't have hosting in the name so i thought that i would go in with my mate.

Customer service and reliability are our number 1 priority, we know that its customers who keep us here.

I like the name - catchy!

It'll be the branding that'll make hte name. Some funny circles, a silly little mascot and you'll be set. Make it fun and enjoyable and so long as you don't compensate (and simply ignore) the possible "other use" of the word you'll be fine :)

We are considering buying a template, as we have seen some nice ones.
