I'm trying to upload files on my end-user account but it is saying that "File uploads are restricted to prevent account issues caused by exceeding your file system quota". In my WHM I have the quotas set to unlimted so why is it doing this? I can't seem to figure it out but I am also very new to VPS's and the Cpanel WHM.

Are you getting this error when uploading through cpanel File Manager, and what is the size of the files you are trying to upload?
In WHM >> Tweak Settings: set the necessary values for the two options:

The maximum file size in MB allowed for upload through cPanel File manager. Use "unlimited" for unlimited:

The minimum filesystem quota space in MB required after file upload through cPanel File manager (Default 5MB). This will prevent users from hitting their quota limit through File Manager file uploads:


This may help... Also check if you have an issue while uploading via FTP..
