Joomla is a Content Management System, OSC is a shopping cart system - they are quite different things so you cannot make a useful comparison!

Hi xiaolin, it may also be helpful if you could tell us a little bit about what you are trying to accomplish. I am sure that many of us here could then assist you further with some suggestions. Thanks!

Joomla is a better option. All you need to do is give some time. There are many modules that you can use for your website.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve.

osCommerce is a great piece of software which we use a lot mainly because of the vast amount of features and user support the software has. It is also has an admin that is very easy for our customers to use.

I run (now selling) PBParadise.com for the last 2 years.

The site is a VERY heavily modded version of OScommerce it has been featured on their site a few time to show the different contributions that you can put towards it. It hardly even looks like OSC. The admin area, modules, manuals, support is awesome for an open source program. I would highly recommenend it and could help you out since I know more about this program than I should.
