Instance 02-09-2007, 09:43 AM Hugemarkus, check out http://www.flashperfection.com too. It is a step-by-step, newbie-friendly tutorial and I am sure you would be helpful to you. :agree: Manish Gori 02-09-2007, 02:04 PM Book: Flash Bible- Robert reinhardt Website: kirupa.com Forums: flashkit.com Have a good day! skrachs 02-10-2007, 06:12 AM search in youtube for flash tutorials, manuals etc Jamie Harrop 02-10-2007, 09:30 AM I bought a bunch of the video tutorials from http://www.cartoonsmart.com/ last year. They were very helpful. Much better than reading text in a book or on a screen, like I had done in the past. cactus 02-10-2007, 07:32 PM Flash has a steep learning curve but once you have mastered the basics such as keyframes, stage, timeline, etc, etc. then you are on your way to some very interesting animation. There are a lot of tutorials on the web and books you can buy and I would suggest that you try out some simple examples to gain experience as that's the only way to learn. DahliaBloom 02-10-2007, 08:13 PM Thank you for the valuable resources. I feel completely computer illiterate reading these, so I'll ask a question and pray not to be condesended to. Flash is the animation that makes the pictures move? I'm not stupid, just new to web building. Flasher 02-12-2007, 08:23 PM I personally think that Flash is easier to learn if you actually work with practical Flash examples. So the less you read, and the more you experiment, the better. :-) Good luck! Flash is great! Instance 02-13-2007, 09:41 AM Thank you for the valuable resources. I feel completely computer illiterate reading these, so I'll ask a question and pray not to be condesended to. Flash is the animation that makes the pictures move? I'm not stupid, just new to web building. Exactly. :) DahliaBloom 02-13-2007, 10:24 AM I'm glad I wasn't crazy. From what I understand now, after having visited several of the sites, there is a flash generator? If that is correct, then is that to flash as photoshop is to pictures? As Cactus said "Flash has a steep learning curve...but once you have learned the basics" admin-globalvidia 02-13-2007, 10:50 PM Flash is simple to learn, just buy a book "Flash MX and tutorials" Instance 02-14-2007, 04:56 AM Oh, indeed, there's no need to buy a book at all - many beginner-friendly tutorials are available online. For example -> Flash tutorial (http://www.echoecho.com/flash.htm) - concise, but very neat and useful in my humble opinion. :agree: Have a nice day today :) fastnoc 02-14-2007, 05:03 AM it is NEVER not need to read a book. Reading is funfamental. period. Instance 02-14-2007, 05:13 AM there's no need to buy a book at all Did anyone mention anything about no need to read a book? I don't think so. :) Anyone, let's not spam the thread. Scott_AUS 05-03-2007, 08:03 AM Just wanted to say thanks for the links.
