So you are reselling eservers servers which itself is a reseller of sorts for Transactglobal? Wouldn't it be more profitable to just offer managed service for a fee for those who are using eservers or transactglobal. Since you are a value add you need to define what a managed server is to you, since the management is all you add to the package.

Hello, just to make this clear, eServers Dot Biz are NOT resellers. They are partnered with tranXact global. Things that are included in the managed solution are security update, patch installation, kernal upgrades, server monitoring ect.

Frac yes eservers is a "partner" but they use transact's facility and resale on that level. So what is the busiest site you have ever hosted before? How many sites do you host, and do you offer fee based management for those that are hosted with eservers or elsewhere, if so how much a month?

Busiest site I have ever hosted before was around 100GB/mo. But most of our experience is with resellers so far. Right now we host close to 50 websites. We don't offer it publically but if you get in contact with us I am sure we can work something out. :)

Partner in this case is a fancy way of saying reseller. Eserver.biz from my knowledge RESELLS dv2's servers. They do not own the actual hardware dv2/transxact does.

how fast is this?
processor speed == ..?

and do we HAVE to use ensim

what if i wanted to turn it off..?
Can i turn it off, and just use the server itself, and disable any default things, install my own things and accept the responsibility?

Is that cogent bandwidth? And what happens IF the athlon xp's burn themselves out like rackshack's?

EDIT: Also how are you reselling eservers.biz? Do you have a contract with them?

Nope, you can have WHM/CPanel or Pleask installed instead

CPanel/WHM: $69/mo.
Plesk:
30 Domain $159/per server one time fee
300 Domain $479 /per server one time fee
Unlimited Domain $639/per server one time fee

The bandwidth is MFN, Aleron and Cogent. If the server burns out we will replace it.

Also if you don't want to payy the setup fee we can arrange a higher monthly price except for on the Dual PIII

And what happens IF the athlon xp's burn themselves out like rackshack's?

We tested athlon XP's in our 1U and 2U servers and 1U they burn out no problem :) and run hot enough to fry eggs before they burn out

In the 2U you have to have the exhaust and blower fans set up absolutely spot on and make sure the filters are spotless - just not worth the hassle as the build cost of an athlon XP 1600 (1.4Ghz) is actually higher than a P4 1.7.

In a white box I suppose you have the same problem about getting your cooling right.

If the server burns out we will replace it

You do need to consider the customers down time in this scenario especially if using 'remote hands' avoiding down time maybe a better option

Just to clear this up, we OWN our own hardware, DV2 just supports it, as its located in there facility, its what some of you'd call co-location, but this is a different stage of co-location, as both comapnies work TOGETHER with each other.
We dont get treated as a CLIENT but as a PARTNER.

Hope this clears the air, as a lot of people jump on the bangwagon as soon as eServers and Tranxactglobal's relationship is mentioned on this board.
