i have to send money to a friend in canada and i live in england
how can i send it these options cant be used-

paypal.com
sending cash


so what can i do anyone no a company that does it for a small charge but i dont need a card or anything anyone please help?????

Or a similar service. Don't know about them in the U. K., but in my area, they have offices in most grocery stores. Also, in all check cashing stores, etc.

Just go to their site and find a location-www.westernunion.com

Your friend can locate the one closest and most convenient for pickup.

do an international wire transfer to their bank? send a cheque?

Your best bet is a postal money order from your local post office. They usually do it for a few dollars (they raised the price over here in Singapore this year, so prices are not looking so good...)

Alternatively, cash in the mail. Options like Western Union can get expensive for small sums. And services like payingfast.com and the likes all only take CC...

Canada is still part of the comonwealth - so just go to your local bank after you get you friends bank account info :)
