My DNS stopped working, i'd wait a bit if i were you !
i don't know if it has anything to do with the update.

Most likely. I'll stay away from it for now.

If we're talking about this one "RaQ3-en-Update-OS Release 4.0" then I have installed it without problems and that was about a week ago...

Everything (including DNS) works like it should...

I install "RaQ4-en-Update-OS Release 4.0" on my RaQ4r.
It worked fine including DNS service before yesterday. I couldn't turn it on again within Control Panel. Because I am not familiar with Linux OS, I gave up. I use tera-byte's dnsadmin instead.

I also wonder if it has anything to do with the update.

Hi :) we've installed all of them in our raq3 including all the patches up to the last one>log rotate patch. So far all works but the dns's cnames, so we just do away with it, anyways cnames like ftp.domain...and mail.domain....on a single machine is only for looks.

here is what we did on the dns per virtual site on a single machine:
add 2 A records:
domain.com A ip address
http://www.domain.com A ip address

and 1 mx:
domain.com MX0 http://www.domain.com

thats it your set, all you have to do is when you ftp or fetch your email is to enter http://www.domain.com :)

Oh....

I will install the OS 4.0 soon then ...

Since tera-byte force us to use their dns servers...
The DNS issue is no longer important...
