I just installed a test linux server at home and it deosn't apear to have a pop3 server. Is this normal? Did I forget to install something, or is it there but I'm just not finding it?

there is a pop3 server in the xidentd package if you install that. However i think that depends on which distribution of linux you installed.

To see if its installed check the /etc/xident.d/ folder and look for a file called ipop3
