I'm looking to accept credit card orders by manually entering the credit card information (I will be selling game servers so a shopping cart wouldn't work since accounts may take several days to set up due to server availability issues) so I'd like to know what kind of service am I searching for? 2checkout.com is popular but they're not what I'm looking for are they? PayPal offers low rates and appears to be right for me but can they be trusted? I've heard of several horror stories but they mostly seem to be from auctioneers. Thanks for your input.

If your customers are entering in the credit card numbers, then 2checkout/paypal type places could work for you. If [b]you]/b] are entering your customers numbers, then you'll need a merchant account.
