I am a current reseller of Host Department LLC comapny (2 years now).

They have excellent reseller packages with excellent prices, but the last year was horrible with respect to lots of downtime in their servers.

Does nay one know a similar company with similar packages and pricing?

Thanks for all who respond!

Horrible things are very possible to happen precisely because of the packages and pricing on offer. You can dream of a provider who'll provide you fantastic hosting with the same specs and prices.

Looking for that features at that prices = looking for troubles.

You should rise your budget or lower your needs if you want a reliable host.

im with them and to tell u the truth they lag like hell, im not sayin this because my forum is overloaded and lags but by the amount of times i've logged into the control panel, it isn't too plesent sittin around all day waitin for it to load. they've got quick excellent live support though. but i'd say stay away becase all their servers are shared with one another which i predict for the lag.

I'ld say stay away from any host that offers unlimited space and bandwith

Definitely, keep well away from servers that have too many websites on the same computer. If you're waiting for a response from the server and you're not getting any within few seconds then I suggest you make a move and look elsewehere because the the time that you accumulate in terms of waiting for the server to come back can add to quite an ammount by the end of the day. If you have wasted 30 minutes per day - multiply that ammount with your hourly rate you would get from working for someone then my friend that is exactly how much you are loosing.

Go with hosting that has been around and which are highly recommended by others - I hear hostgator is good if you're in the US.

I always look for servers/hosting with good response to where I am and ping times and the number of hops from different location from around the internet.

Cheers!

I m currently use their shared hosting since last month and i m going to move another host. Their %99.9 uptime is only a history! Well their server never down but walks like a turtle! Mysql server is teribble.. Dns server is always down.. So keep away from them if you dont want to lose your clients.
