Hi,

i am setting up a site that shall be taking around 30,000 micro payments of £1 per month in the uk. At the same time it needs to have the facility of allowing users to pay amounts of up to £50 (which i would imagine is not a micropayment ). Could i please get some information (in a basic fashion as web payments are new to me) on how to approach this situation in the best economical fashion

Many thanks.

There is a thread on the E-Commerce Discussion entitled "Challenge: The $1 credit card purchase" you might want to try searching for...its a bit dated, but it might be helpful.

I have looked at the previouse thread and it was insightfull. I have also looked at the paypal link that was posted. It offers what seems to be a decent rate. HOwever i have heard many negative things said about pay pal. Are there any specialist companies that deal with micro payments and/or are there any links to bank sites that shows their rates i was unable to find any (i was however also unable to find the pay pal page).

Many Thanks
