They seem wonderful deals but clearance: does it mean old stock hardware ThePlanet's been using for 5 years? Sorry, just want to clarify on hardware age and quality.. If it's old stock, I'd rather order a newer dual-core release.

The Dual Xeon 2.8 is no longer manufactured, so these are not new servers. Five years ago in Houston we were selling Compaq DL320's and Colbat Raq4i's while anxiously awaiting the release of the P4 1.7's so Dual Xeon 2.8's are not even close to five years old. :)

<edit> Ok, it looks like the Dual Xeon processor was released in September of 2002. I think we started selling them late 2002 or very early in 2003. So the oldest they would be is four years. <edit>
