View Full Version : How can I transfer my domain name when the registrar is not responding?
Hello,
I've a domain name registered through a white label company, PUBLICDOMAINREGISTRY.COM, and when I'm trying to transfer it from my eNom account, I'm being asked for Authorization Key.
The reseller is not responding. What can I do?
Pelase advise.
Dave Zan 01-28-2007, 10:34 AM Keep trying. Email, support ticket, even call them if possible.
If the domain name's registered under your name, then contact the registrar and
provide specifics.

Nothing .. maybe they are no longer in business that means your domain is gone.

Sorry? Even if they (the eNom reseller) are no longer in business, it doesn't mean that his domain will be gone.

So how will eNom be able to tell who owns the domain if its under the resellers name?

Why would the domain be registered under the reseller's name in the first place?

Why would he need a Authorization Key is the domain is in his name? any way are you the owner of Host Hideout?
CD Burnt 01-28-2007, 07:50 PM b3b3, publicdomainregistry may call the authorization key a "domain secret".
at website.in, it is found after clicking the "Click here to Manage the Domain Registration properties" link.
what's the reseller's URL ?
lbeachmike 01-28-2007, 09:22 PM Authorization Keys were implemented recently as a requirement for domain xfers.
Are you trying to transfer FROM or TO your enom account? Your original inquiry says FROM, but it sounds like you're trying to do the opposite.
i hate this EPP key thing
we were able to transfer in the past if domain is not locked and set on our email

FYI: Auth codes are needed for ALL registrar transfers at EPP-based registries (which includes .COM and .NET now), it doesn't matter if the domain is in his name or not.
No, I'm not the owner of HostHideout.
Public Domain Registry is a Directi company. so why don't you just open up an account at website.in and push the domain from your PDR account to your website.in account?
