Black Lotus Communications is proud to announce its new BLCC Black Widow web site distributed denial of service mitigation product which provides the benefit of web site protection no matter where you host.
How it works:
Requests to view your web site are received by a firewall on our network. This firewall statefully inspects the request to ensure it is a real human before passing the traffic to the remainder of the network. The process is completely transparent to your visitors.
Clean requests are passed onto the Black Widow content distribution network which evaluates the request and then retrieves the content from your remotely hosted web site. The Black Widow stores your content on the network for five minutes to one hour and will continue to serve directly from the network without making additional requests to your web server unless your content has changed or is dynamic by nature.
