The web hosts' sites have a search function for finding domain names, but nearly every name I want are taken. Worse of all the sites only allow for one search at a time, is there a place where many names can be entered for searching all at once?

Try "Whois Ultra" at http://www.analogx.com

It permits automated searches of word lists, and word combinations (e.g. it can try every word on your list with various prefixes, or suffixes).

Sincerely,

P.S. Whois Ultra is free. :)

Dotster.com (http://www.doterster.com) has a feature that lets you search for 300 domain names simultaneously. They also have a good "Suggest-A-Name" feature if the domain name you want is taken.
