Hi there,
I am trying to set up a payent system to allw users to purchase email hosting online. I am wanting to do this using paypal and collecting details from them such as personal detials etc then set up the account manually.
After they have paid, is it possible to send out an email to them automaticall, such as a 'thank you email'? If so, how would I do this?
Any help would be great!

Trying to keep track of customers via Paypal would be a nightmare. Get yourself a real billing solution, like whmcs.com, and hook that up to Paypal. Then you can customize the email any way you wish AND be able to keep track of billing and client info.

Are you using that system yourself Tina? If so how is it compared to MB?

Hi,
I would defiantly suggest ModernBill, we use that and it works like a dream!

I use this system as well. I have used both modernbill and WHMCS before. WHMCS costs less yet IMHO is just as effective. Support is fast and Matt is constantly releasing updates to the software with suggested features. It is also easier to use, and configure. Modernbill has a ton of features, many however are not needed by most hosts. WHMCS also loads faster than Modernbill.

I've used MB, just never WHMCS. Thanks Mike, I may give that a shot.
