What do you think? www.ffrevolution.net/cougar puggy106 06-29-2002, 12:18 PM Ok, am I being dumb ... I cant see any Patrick NixHosting 06-29-2002, 12:40 PM Very nice. I had a 98 cougar a few years ago. I totaled that thing  . My friend has one of them with the new body style and it looks nothing like that. Maybe his is a 2001. But that one right there looks like a mustang. Very nice car Pat. Persoanlly I'm a SUV guy now :) . Got to love chevy trucks. Take a lickin and keep tickin. Andyc 06-29-2002, 01:08 PM Patrick, Great looking car. I could do without the blue part on the seats though. Patrick-EV1 06-29-2002, 01:14 PM That's a first, most people love the interior, maybe it looks better in person, not tainted by the glare of the pounding Houston sun. puggy106 06-29-2002, 01:17 PM Do we have to talk about the "Sun" ... Im from England, it just depresses me NNHost 06-29-2002, 01:23 PM Edit<>, Puggy, yeh im in england too, blazing hot out there huh? I wish, hehe, nice car.. Noldar 06-29-2002, 01:25 PM Nice car Patrick. Very sharp looking. I have to agree with AndyC though. I'm not too keen on the blue on the seats. Richard Patrick-EV1 06-29-2002, 01:30 PM The other option for interior was black leather.. I dunno if any of you have ever been in Houston.. but black leather would be suicide.. :D code_renegade 06-29-2002, 02:30 PM All grey cover for the seats will be better, IMHO. :) We truck around in a carriage over here - nice and large with enough space for everyone, especially our slightly *larger* relatives :D Noldar 06-29-2002, 05:45 PM Originally posted by Patrick-EV1 The other option for interior was black leather.. I know exactly what you mean :D Richard FDrive 06-29-2002, 06:05 PM I acutally like the interior. Nice car! iamdave 06-29-2002, 06:23 PM Nice car Patrick, congratulations. WoodShedd 06-29-2002, 08:43 PM I agree- Nice car, even though it is a Ford:smash: Andyc 06-29-2002, 09:51 PM Patrick, I know what you mean about the black leather. I have black leather in my car and I live in Tampa. It is murder. cyansmoker 06-29-2002, 10:46 PM Well, I have light leather, here in Los Angeles. I can't see how black leather could be any worse :\ Patrick-EV1 06-29-2002, 11:03 PM It probably isnt ! :D Could've ordered tan leather with it too if I had asked, but I'm not sure tan leather would look good at all in this car. Patrick-EV1 06-29-2002, 11:06 PM Interesting note I didnt see until later, if you look at cougarside2.JPG, the older cougar model is right next to me :D JTY 06-29-2002, 11:27 PM Nice car! Yeah, leather is a killer in the sun. I got in my car today, after I had parked it in full sun for a few hours. Ouch! ARETNA 06-30-2002, 01:01 AM 300KB per picture. Come on Patrick! Some of us are on dial up when away from our primary workstation. GRRRRR Mester 06-30-2002, 01:33 AM I dont think they should put leather in cars. Our Maxima has grey leather and whenever it gets anything over 25 C - ouch. It'll be 35 on monday and I think that'll be hell. I cant imagine living in the southern states with it hehe My friend bought a camaro and had the leather seats taken out at the dealership and replaced with those from a cloth base model (I wouldnt go that far :)) :D Nice car btw ;) Servstra-Sales 06-30-2002, 02:38 AM Great car Patrick. :agree: chrisb 06-30-2002, 03:18 AM Beautiful car, Patrick! ...but take those .jpg images to http://myimager.com and reduce them, OK? I had a car with black leather seats and swore I'd never buy a car with leather seats again. Then, I let a salesman talk me into a car that had everything I wanted but it also had light tan leather seats. Unfortunately, if you want a loaded car these days, it usually comes with leather seats. I believe the tan is even hotter than the black. Oh, yeah, I'm in the South in Tennessee, and I'm get tired of burning my back and buns on the seats. I'm looking at seat covers OR I may just jerk out the seats, power seats and all, and put in cloth seats from the salvage yard. BTW, there's alot more wrong with leather seats than just the heat. As God is my witness, I'll never buy a car with leather seats again. :) coolguy23 06-30-2002, 03:21 AM how much did ya get it for? i personally don't think the exterior looks all that great but i can imagine it runs well, and fast... clocker1996 06-30-2002, 04:57 AM Damn good lookin car. Maniac 06-30-2002, 05:00 AM Nice car ;) - I think you shuold buy me one :D cyansmoker 06-30-2002, 05:13 AM Originally posted by chrisb BTW, there's alot more wrong with leather seats than just the heat. A few days ago, I was getting in my car, which happens to have a very low ground clearance, when my BELT did a nice scratch to my seat. About 2 inches long... Not my belt buckle, just my stupid belt itself. YES, there's a lot more wrong with leather seats :bawling: chrisb 06-30-2002, 05:30 AM Originally posted by cyansmoker A few days ago, I was getting in my car, which happens to have a very low ground clearance, when my BELT did a nice scratch to my seat. My GM car is only 4 years old and still under warranty. I already paid $50 once for leather repair on a minor spot; and I'm not doing it again. I mentioned how the leather was wearing off and the sales manager said that's normal for GM cars, they don't make good leather. Of course, I wasn't told that when I bought it. Another problem with leather seats is stitches coming undone or rotting in no time at all. I don't know why leather is considered luxurious. I consider it inferior interior. If I wanted to sit on leather, I'd ride a horse. StarGate 06-30-2002, 08:32 AM Drive carfully barrywien 06-30-2002, 06:43 PM Is it just me, or does the ICE system not match the rest of the interior:confused: itsdestiney* 07-04-2002, 06:15 PM i think ur car is very nice itsdestiney* 07-04-2002, 06:16 PM ur car rocks i wish i coudl drive but im just 13 JMD 07-04-2002, 06:20 PM Nice car best of luck with it.
