web hosting site design available for purchase.

This is one of a kind, it will not be reproduced,
it is not a template, and it has never been used.

This was made by one of our development professionals
with graphic dev tools and good'ol notepad. :)

It comes with full source, button blank, site plan blank,
background blank, and background with semi transparent keyboard graphics.

You can customize it yourself, or we can add the finishing
touches you desire, such as the logo, button, plan, user login,
and search engine cgi. Depending on what type of offers we
receive, we may charge for additional work, lets see what
happens.

We'll start the bidding at $1.00 and see where it goes.

Some of the best designs I've seen only use a coupple of main colours.... its more the use of colours rather then quanitiy. No need to dis fellow designers.

While reading your post i realized you made a few mistakes. Let me pinpoint them for you:

There is nothing about that design that says development or professional. In all honesty, this is probably one of the nastiest layouts i have ever seen and im sure 2 year old retarded blind kids could do better. And yes your colour choices are terrible, your bevels you ask? even worse. My favourite part has to be your logo though great work! Ahh moving on..

Extremely nice? DESIGN? You must have pasted the wrong link in your post because theres nothing about your post that says nice, or design. And anyone who thinks of purchasing this has to be more retarded then you even for your outrageous price of $1.


Not much more to say... hope you don't take any offense but you suck and i suggest at trying a new career because design is not for everyoen and especially not for you.

what a coincidence.

Noone seems to comprehend that the colors can easily be changed.

Did anyone ever think that the reason the apects of the design (logo, plans) may be presented multicolored is so no skill wannabee's don't try to steal any parts of the design ?

Its greyscale now, and I repeat the colors are easily customizable
in less time than it takes for you 'experts' to voice your 'expert' opinions.

just look at other web design sites and try to make something similar... not saying to copy but once you have the right skills you can do very good templates.

First, he didn't ask for opinions. Just put it up for sale. Either you want to bid on it or you don't. When others ask for opinions, then it is fine to offer, but serves no purpose in this case.

And, to the seller: Frankly, you brought this deluge on yourself with your reply and insulting manner to phpcoder, who, in fact, was the only one here to say anything good about it.

The moderators need to close this thread and let the seller start anew. Then, the market, not the attack vultures will tell him the value of his work.

I am not the designer, but as you said, this design is
up for sale, not up for opinion requests, which is why I
responded to phpcoder in that manner. I imagine when
you said children you really mean it, since only kids would
be so closed minded, yet highly opinionated about design development.

The whole point of this design is to be unique, if it wasn't,
it would not be original or one of a kind.

I guess I should clear a few things up here.

The design is a very good design, and in my opinion is one of the better out on the web that I have seen compared to some. When I commented on the colors, I didn't mean it to critisize or hurt your feelings. But, honestly... take a minute and think. Would you rather people say WOW, thats awesome all the time... or tell the truth?

I told the truth... I said I liked the design, but I thought the colors could be changed. If people never said anything negative, or made suggestions, we would never improve any of our work.

Also, if you look at others posts with templates for sale, people have remarked even if it didn't ask for comments.

Again, Im sorry if you took my post in the wrong direction, but I was being honest. And it seems that you have taken my advice and changed the color ;)

Also, I never heard anybody say it comes with full source :confused:

I actually just used paint shop greyscale feature
to make sure people realize that the colors presented
are not static, they are easily customizable,
full source included is stated in the original post.

Constructive criticism does not include the word horrible imho,
that is not constructive, its simply rude, especially when considering you didn't acknowledge the full source was included.
