Hi,

I was wondering what kind of options I have with regards to using Plesk and billing customers?

Is there an API I can use to develop with?

I am assuming that you want to create your own system instead of using Modernbill, Clientexec, etc.

The API docs can be found here:

good luck!

Alright that's a start.

I'm a Helm developer so I know nothing about Plesk but I have used it in the past.

I'm taking over a company that uses Plesk hence these questions.

How would I go about setting up an automated billing system? Time is the most crucial thing.

I'm looking at ClientExec at this stage. Does it work with Plesk Windows?

Clientexec does with work with Plesk Windows 8.1.

Strange that it only works with 8.1.

ModernBill V4 works with Plesk servers all the way back to version 6.5 and Version 5 works with 7.0 and newer with the XML API for Windows.

For linux it goes back even further on V4, but the same restrictions on V5 as they stuck with API.

Also they are now working with the template system so you can utilize templates.

AND I know they are working on a script to import all clients from a Plesk server directly into ModernBill. I know they expect to have it done soon, but I don't know the ETA.
