Two questions:
(1) For some reason I'm locked out of my perldesk. Does anyone know how to reset passwords in perldesk?
(2) Are there any other good helpdesk scripts out there...either free or for a resonable amount of money. IE, Not looking to pay the wonderdesk price.

To me, the best free is perldesk although, frankly, my Support Team prefers ticketsmith.
The next step up I think is PHPSupportDesk (leased license $150).
Then of course at the upper end I love deskpro ($795).

I'd have to agree with Incognito. Our support guys love Ticketsmith too. We actually use Ticketsmith to also handle our sales emails too. It allows us to evenly distribute sales enquiries to our Sales reps. Plus, with it being web based, if any of our staff are on the road, they can easily check for emails from any computer that is connected to the Internet.
