Yes, since they only accept clients from France, Germany, Spain and Poland, I'll resell some servers to the world from this excellent provider with more than 8,000 servers installed, currently I only resell the servers listed above.

(Sorry for double posting)

Every time I have emailed Luis, he has had an answer in under 30 minutes. He's always been extremely polite, even though I messed up my server and had to have an OS reinstall, he did it and acted like it was nothing.

I can't believe more people don't want this offer, so many people seem to be upset about OVH not offering servers to people ourside of France, German,y Poland, or Spain, yet no one replies to this thread.

well i've ordered server at ovh.fr using cc yesterday, and still waiting for sever setup, but i guess there won't be any because i'm not from france but ireland.

their support is not responding and i will wait few more days and then i will contact lumigo for a few servers setup.

I'm not sure about Ireland, but I ordered a KimSufi server from them and I am from the US, and a week later I got a reply that they wouldn't sell to me because I am from the US, and they refunded my CC.

I've contacted OVH directly about the "Included traffic", and it's like this:

Traffic: Minimum guaranteed bandwidth. (example: you are on a 100Mbps shared connection, but you have 5Mbps always available guaranteed, you can use more depending on network utilization).

Forget about the 1500GB thing, servers on OVH are totally unmetered on a 100Mbps connection, but you have a guaranteed bandwidth, on this offers: 5 Mbps minimum guaranteed.

I've personally seen a server with 5Mbps guaranteed traffic push 7-8Mbps 24/7.

redsfans im from ireland as well had several ovh servers before but they dont sell them anymore to people outside few select countries

also whats even worse is they dont renew the servers of existing customers from outside these countries

they take weeks to answer emails, ringing them doesnt help as they dont have a clue, i wouldnt want to know what their support is like when lets say a hard drive fails

traffic wise its about 5 to 20mbit average, excellent speeds to europe, the rest is slow

I'm sorry about your bad experience with OVH, but to me, their support always answer within 24 hours, however their company is made in a way where you don't even need support, everything is explained at their webpage, and also they have a very useful guides section.

They have a page where you can check the actual works in the datacenter (maintenances, switch reboots, scheduled downtime, unexpected stuff), and the status of these works (scheduled, finished or in progress), on another page you can see the actual servers down in each of their racks.

Servers in OVH are 24/7 ping monitored, if a server is not responding to pings, you will receive an email about it, and if it doesn't come up, their tech staff will look at the server to check hardware/software problems, if it's a hardware problem, they'll replace the hardware with problems (ram, hdd, etc), but if it's a software problem and they can't make it to come up, the technician will boot in rescue mode and you can access your server again to check configuration (firewall misconfiguration or network config), and the average time for OVH to do this interventions is 30 minutes.

Their Hardware Replacement SLA is 4 hours, but in another page in OVH they say it's done in maximum 2 hours.

that is true ^^ the control panel is good (beta) and there is a good monitoring system

all the problems i had was with their sales staff regaring payments and renewals
:( tho not the hardware/tech

wth, i just ordered a server from ovh ( kimsufi ) about 5 minutes ago , i don't speak french, but they asked me what flipping country I'm from. If they don't sell to americans, why wouldn't they just not let me place the order to begin with! wth. what a waste of time :(

I agree. It's a complete waste of time, they should just have a small list of countries you can select from if that's all they allow.
