If you're out of money how do you know your servers will be up for the next 6 years?

it's a big number of servers connected to eachother... it's for her company called Calsonic. Her site: Calsonic.com , we produce automotive products, and our new plans are being send trough that network.

Can your system actually handle the 250GB per month bandwidth offered?

Respective U
06-28-2002, 08:59 AM
yes, my mom's said she got about 300 over, so u thought we could give away 250

So if we took you up on this package offer, and your mothers firm goes bankrupt for whatever reason, would we get our vBulletin License back since we are not getting the hosting service we exchanged it for? for at least 6 years as stated by yourself above.

Since you do not host sites as a business, does that mean no technical support is available to us?

Respective U

the frim wont go bankrupt what so ever, and you get your lisence back. If problem occure, we'll get that fixed by proffesionals.

well... ok but, your current offer actually infringes VBB's License Agreement (kinda offer that you see in warez boards  ). So better be aware of that.
And, is your server located in Portland, Maine State ?

Respective U

im aware of that, and no the servers are located in Holland

Respective U

phpjames

What does this mean?

unl. bandwidth (250 gig/month)

Respective U
06-28-2002, 10:13 AM
yes, thats what i meant...

phpjames

What does unl bandwidth mean to you? To me it means something you can not provide because if I hooked you up with a VB license there is no way you can provide unlimted bandwidth with the amount of traffic I could pull. Maybe you should revise your offer.

i said this unl. bandwidth (250 gig/month)
because most sites say they give that, but if u read the small signs, it turn out that u have only 20 gig or something
thats why i put this thing (250 gig/month) with it. most sites dont take over 250 gig/month

dude....take a hint!

no one on thid board is going to fall for your offer.....why dont you just use some free bb like phpbb2 or something http://phpbb.com ?

Respective U...so if I have a site which pulls 250 gigs a month I can host with you if I provide you a license? Seriously this isnt something you think you can realistically provide is it? To most this offer is clearly not valid and false and from the responses you provide its schetchy. I am not sure why someone would offer this type of request but your trade isnt really what you say you can give us in return.

Sounds to me like if this little kid has tried everything he could to get a hold of an ilegal copy of vBulletin and failed. Now he's making this lame story/offer up.

Little kid, if your mom has so many servers and such huge company, why don't you ask her to buy a your license? I'm sure if what you're saying is true, your mom would rather give you $80 than you giving a server with 250GB monthly bandwidth to some stranger in exchange for $80.
