If this belongs in another forum please move. I took my best guess :)

Any suggestions on a preferred web-based project manager? I'm looking for something along the lines of SugarCRM, but for doing project management. Not for web hosting but for IT related work. For example if a customer wants me to implement a new in-house file server and network, it would be nice to be able to attach email conversations, files, etc.

So something along the lines of a CRM, but for technical folks instead. My employer is going to buy ConnectWise probably in the future, but I'd like something before then.

I like the products from 37signals, Basecamp is nice for this.

Or if you need opensource,

All great suggestions. DotProject looks the closest to what I needed, but I plan to try out the others anyway. Thanks folks!
