Just a note to all about Network Solution business practices. I have a domain name at Netsol and was trying to transfer it to Namecheap.
Namecheap initiated the transfer for me, I received an email from Netsol saying that I needed to respond to the email within 96 hours or the request would be denied.
I DID respond and have the emails to prove it.
I emailed Namecheap after several days to see why it hadn't transferred and they said to check with NetSol and that NS would sometimes say they "hadn't received the confirm email" and that I should email NS about it.
I did email NS about it, and they did in fact deny ever receiving my confirmation reply.
I emailed them back with the original confirmation/date stamp attached and asked them to give me a response as to what the problem was.
The only response I received from NS was some generic email they are emailing everyone with about moving names to some new server to provide better support...blah blah blah....
Talk about some unethical business practices. They'll do anything to keep customers.
I'm so ticked I could spit! Okay.. done venting.
Just beware of Network Solution.
Anyone else out there had a similiar experience with them?
Take care!
Stefan
