I'm just wondering what the people on WHT think is the best domain name register.

I use RegisterFly.com because they are so cheap ($9.99), but Ive used them, GoDaddy, Register.com, StarGateInc, and Dotster, and believe Dotser is probably my favorite, and has the best tech support

Yeah, Dotster is great. There are cheaper registrars, such as GoDaddy (http://www.godaddy.com), but Dotster has nice management tools, and if you ever do need to contact support for any reason, they're on top of things.

I used Network Solutions originally (3 years ago), they were great at first but now it is terrible and I am getting very tired of seeing their pop-up ads :) I have also used register.com, which was only because Network Solution's site was not working, and I now mostly use GoDaddy because it's cheap :)

Being Canadian (eh?) I flock to the Canadian-based companies whenever possible. This is why I like a company called Instant Domain Registrations (http://www.instantdomainregistration.com) They're $15 US, but you can modify everything you should need to quickly and easily and the guy who runs the thing is on the ball (I've had a few questions from time to time and he's always answered them....such a rarity in this day and age to get an answer to a question other than "huh?")

I use Namecheap.com Good prices, and the response speed is pretty good as well. Got 5 domains with them so far.

Namecheap, i have 3 domains with them but i dont like the support, you cannot even change a cobrand nameserver there, So i'll still stick to my old time favorite gkg.net, excellent support, they will even ask if you like coffee while you are chatting to them online. :D

I use www.dnbuy.com (a reseller for Enom). They charge 8.97 and offer tons of free features.

I like www.000domains.com ...They are the best in my opinion, though not cheap $13.50 but great support and easy to make changes to the records without any problems.

I like BulkRegister - one of the early registrars. The prices are reasonable and it is very easy to manage multiple domains within a single account. changes are always easy to make too.:spiny:

I recently had to change the name servers for over 100 domains - registered thru 7 registrars. This was because VenturesOnline had to change a few things.

The best - BulkRegister - took me 5 minutes to fix 50 domains!
Most of my name servers are there to.

StarGateinc.com - not as good, but great for the price.
GoDaddy.com - I'm new there - but worked out fine.
Joker.com - but stay away from theie old interface.
Directi.com - intimidateing for newbes, but can be learned.

The worst - goes without saying - NetSol/VerSin
