Safeshopper.com is going o start charging people for using their shopping cart. That is not right. Does anyone where I can get a shopping cart for free that or a small up front fee(small). I need at least 50-100, 100 would be a very good start. ANy one please help post or email me.

You can get a free or one-time fee cart but then any changes you have to make and test yourself.

Try the Dansie cart. Pretty cheap and very good.

Did you read the article about this? Some might have a problem with the script due to this, but it seems some current people don't care. Might be a consideration, so I mention it.

I havent used this cart but sure have heard good things

Agora.cgi is a modified Copmmerce.cgi and is so much better than it. Akopia Interchange is worth a look too.

Sounds like the kind of stuff major corporate software shops and consultants do to ensure clients keep paying the license fees.

NTL, this not withstanding, it's a good product IMO.

OLD thread I know (was searching for something else)

I'm in the middle of installing Perl Auction http://perlauction.com/ right now and it's going very well. Seems a very professional option and also seems to be the one AfterNIC is using themselves. The licker is the merchant version is $300 though
