Hi,

I am going to start a live hosting business, after doing a lot of offweb hosting. I wonder how to accept payments with credit card. I checked orderbutton.net. They were free ago, but now they are paid one and they list their name.

Please could someone suggest a place which can let me accept payments. I saw some people doing it without using any 3rd party stuff. some one please explain all the stuff to me and suggest me some thing.

Prefered only with setup fees. Or low monthly charges.

Thanks

Well my recommendation will not change and it will always be ematic.com but just for the record - most of the merchants which you'll easily find listed on this forum will enable you to place a form on your site without having to send a URL to the customer or forward them to another site - if this is what you're looking for,....

Good luck

Is there any one without any monthly charges. Or if there are monthly charges with less than 3% of transaction fees.???

I think http://charge.com is too good to be true. Is it true they charge only 2.35% + 0.30$ of transaction. It seems too good.
But i couldn't understand all of the stuff there. Can someone tell me how much it costs actually ? monthly fees? setup fees? any other fees ?

thanks

All true merchant counts are going to have monthly fees (And usually setup fees) involved, but you'll still get a much better rate than going with any 3rd party outfit. Depending on how much volume you think you're going to have each month, you'll have to decide if you want to go with a real merchant account or a 3rd party outfit. As for charge.com, their fees are clearly noted on their site here:

Best of luck,

http://hostcharge.com is all way to go. I may go with them.
I don't think I may go over $500/ month.

What gets me is all these terminal and gateway fees and chargeback fees and statement fees. Yuck. I'll stick with ECHO and avoid all those fees. No fees for terminal, gateway, AVS, etc. Plus, they don't even charge you for chargebacks.

I have no relationship with ECHO other than I've got our merchant account through them. But I'm sure glad I found them.

They seem good, hostpath. But my hosting won't be US based. So i can't get a merchandise there :( .

Yeah, they have the $195 virtual terminal purchase (or you can lease it for $49.95 for 8 months -- pay $400 for a $195 product!). Plus $10/month statement fee. Charge.Com looks cheap until you add these two things in.
