I got an email this morning telling me that my server was low on memory. I sshed in an ran "top" and found two processes that have been running for a long time...

named 45:03
syslogd 32:24

what are these things and is this normal?

Any suggestions.

Note: this is a raq4r with 256 ram and it's been up for 130+ days.
