Just run the speed test. Had to use my other server but I managed to get 450K/s.

I manged to get 100-120 KBps... Is it good or bad? :confused:

Down...hmm Not good. was planning to deal with them on some servers as well. Oh well :(

BRUZEN, will you mind telling us about your connection? We are tired of guessing about your only "Cogentco bandwidth".

I performed another test from my other dedicated server. Looks great. May be it was my home broadband stinking that time. Sorry BRUZEN.

Information about their connectivity can easily be found. Akanoc generally uses a mix of Verio / Cogent but Bruzen's test IP leads to pure Cogent.

The test IP does not relate to the NOC that they are selling Dedicated servers. This is the IP rnage they are selling at present. NetRange: 66.79.165.0 - 66.79.165.127 . So realy I dont undertand the the IP they have the test on.

i can't get a reply from these guys and there hosting site is constantly going down doesn't look good! I don't seem to be getting anywhere finding a cheap as chips DED server seems you get what you pay for booooo!!

AKANOC have Cogent and VerioNTT, we have servers with AKANOC and DediWebHost and the network is the best network around uptime is brilliant. We had a few minutes on Xmas Eve due to a large DDOS attack. Must be there server thats having the issues. That test IP and file is AKANOC's server.

Im a bit of noob when its comes to Ded Server what does all this mean about there ips being differnt to ones on site are they missleading in someway?
never had one but would love to try one out as i have alot of websites i want up and would love to give webhosting another try!

They were friendly with me over chat and answered all of my questions (even stupid ones). I may want try them anyway. Any existing customers?

Update i had an email off them may explain why there site been down

Surley it doesnt take that long to figure that out, unless they stole the IP, all they had to do was readd it.

Yeah so it would seem! Shame tho it seems inpossible to get a Dedicated server nice and cheap seems you get what you pay for sheesh now i sound like my Dad!

i asked them about there forums being offline too and they said there doing something SPECIAL with them so to look again in a few days!

About 6 months ago, bruzen.net bought my old host, quadrahost.com. Service was sketchy at best, with constant downtime.

Then my sites went down for a good week, with no explanation from bruzen. No support was available as their site was down as well. I got a new host, and tried to cancel with bruzen, but as I said, their sites were down so this was impossible.

During this time I was charged for another month of hosting. I guess their payment processor was still working. I wasn't aware that I was on automatic billing. My bad, but still... being charged again for no service burned me arse.

Repeated emails to their sales and support departments were fruitless. Finally I posted this: webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=4129848 and Ryan ("CEO" of Bruzen) responded within minutes. He promised a refund, but it would take 3 months.

Over 3 months have passed, no refund. And Ryan refuses to answer my emails. I guess he's hoping I'll just go away.

Don't deal with this guy. He's unprofessional, and the service is very sketchy. I called his cell phone back when I couldn't get a hold of anyone, and his voice mail sounds like he's a 15 year old kid.

Sorry to hear that Suxhost and i hope you get some compensation in the end!! i am glad i didn't sign up with them in the end!!
