i just went to the support forums of turnkeyresellers.com to find it is no longer there so i then went to the main page to find it completely changed, tried to login but my username / password is longer valid so i went to the "Lost Password" and my email addy isn't on record

so i was wondering if anyone knew what was happening with turnkeyresellers.com as i have received no emails etc about the changes

Have you tried emailing them directly, or calling a support phone number? Its usually a safe bet that sales@ or support@ will go to someone who might know whats going on.

Hi, we have changed direction with the site. Current hosting customer are not affected so that is why no email was sent out. Turnkey has not been active with hosting in some time so we have changed our business a little. However, current customer will continue to receive hosting services.

Hi Robert,

I see it is now a web portal. How do new customers sign up if they want to join your company?

Hi, for the existing clients, you can continue to email the support email and renewals are fine. I have no intention to leave you guys hanging. Just my focus is not hosting direct customers anymore.

I prepaid for 1 year in September 2006, for 20gb space/200gb bandwidth backup hosting services. Will my account continue till Sep 2007.

It would be nice if we were informed. I am hoping rsaylor will change his mind and send out emails to all existing customers to quickly explain the situation. This way we would not be kept in the dark and having to come to this forum for updates.

when i tried to access the site turnkeyresellers.com i got this message

The server went down hard, local tech is in route. Data will be restored shortly. No ETA.

Turnkey will be sunsetting soon, we will attempt to provide data and access. Users should look into other providers as well.

Update: 2007-03-30 11:19 am EST - Server has bad blocks, scan on drive is running. Should be backup in 1 hour. If you are running ns1.turnkeyresellers.com nameservers change to ns1.easyserve.com and ns2.easyserve.com

The server is now backup. I will be moving a select few sites to the VPS server. All other sites will remain on the .2 server until the server is taken down. Please backup your data.

Hi,

Try contacting the easyserve.com directly

870-780-6766 It looks like sites has been down a while and tech is on route.

It also said "Turnkey will be sunsetting soon, we will attempt to provide data and access. Users should look into other providers as well."

With that said it can be reasonable that his focus has changed.

The plan is to keep the server running until sept. However, there is no support anymore and it is no longer critical for server maint. If the server goes down, I will fix it just I do not have time anymore like I use to. Everybody should save a backup of there data and if you wish to continue your hosting that is 100% up 2 you. I will not be offering refunds because I intend to keep the server running until Sept but it can go down at anytime without any warning.

Basically, we are out of business. I am not looking to start any new business up anymore. Good luck everybody.

the turnkeyresellers.com domain will expire soon. Anybody using turnkey as DNS should use there own nameservers.

Sorry to bump this old thread but...

I had a problem with one of my sites so i chased him up after getting no reply from support for months.

(21:28) rsaylor_emiv@yah: what support email did you use ?
(21:28) ' fleccy: tried robert@turnkeyresellers
(21:28) ' fleccy: and some other one a few weeks ago
(21:29) rsaylor_emiv@yah: I am not hosting turnkey anymore
(21:29) ' fleccy: ah right
(21:29) ' fleccy: so what's happening then? i'm confused
(21:30) rsaylor_emiv@yah: I stopped hosting 3 months ago. You can download your data from 216.52.82.101, turnkey went out of business
(21:30) ' fleccy: oh right so erm
(21:31) ' fleccy: i have to find a new host soonish?
(21:31) rsaylor_emiv@yah: *******.com is my buddy's site if you want to host with him
(21:31) rsaylor_emiv@yah: I am actaully helping him now
(21:31) rsaylor_emiv@yah: yes, the old server will be turned off soon

Thanks for telling me.

I didn't receive any email at all, i could have paid for the next year without knowledge.

I know that he posted that they were out of business in this thread, but couldn't an email have been sent out?

And if there was, i didn't get any at all.

Oh and about the "I am not looking to start any new business up anymore." thing, looks like a lie to me seeing as he tried to get me to join a different host.

I'm on a new host now anyway but i thought you would all like to know.

Thanks.
