The last days i noticed a .txt download popup from Opera browser while i was browsing the WHT forum

The download window info says :

File : vh.txt
Server : rotator.juggler.inetinteractive.com
Type : temporary
Would you like to open or save the file ?

This is visible only from Opera , i tried FF and doesn't have this problem

Am i the only Opera user seeing this ?
This popup appeared before 4-7 days. Before that the forum browsing was normal

It may have to do with the banner. It's boring to press 'cancel' on every page

there are always loads of errors in the javascript console with regards to inet's adverts, i'm doubting they even check for compatibility on anything other than ie6.

it's probably best to open a ticket with forum support.

Shouldn't it be up to the advertiser to be sure their banner is compatible for all? They are the ones who want exposure after all.

We haven't changed anything :) I responded to your ticket with a few follow up questions.

Yup I did, the strange thing was, the hostname was our ad server. It doesn't host any .txt files, only images and flash movies. The only thing I would assume was a security setting, but I'm not sure about that.

I saw similar problems in the past but they didn't last so long as this one

Anyway, as we say in computers "if it works don't change it" :)
