View Full Version : Does nayoe know ***********.COM MY CREDIT CARD, HIS BILLS!!!!!
wbirk 06-26-2002, 02:00 PM Have been mailing him - me and my partner, neither got through! His billes appear on my CREDIT CARD! But does not sound like deliberate fraud but a mixup, so I try to get to the guy to do him a favour - what stupid fraudmonger would use his full name and address and business phone number?

If your emails are not getting through, then what makes you think he used his real full name and address and business phone number?
Personally, If I saw some one elses bills on my CC, I would call my CC company, and charge them back, plus report the fraud. If it is a simple mistake, let them worry about it.

If I was a really terrible, dirty rotten host, and people were posting about what a pathetic excuse for a webhost I was,
you mean all I would have to do is spam the board and then my name wouldn't show up anymore?

I know what you mean, but think about it. I can't even use my business CC to pay for my home bills. Know Why? becuase the addresses are not the same. Address verification is the very first thing that gets checked when verifying a credit card.
Besides, even if it really is him, (it might not be) and he mistakenly gave these Companys a wrong CC number, (yours or whoevers) the valid card holder (you) still has to do a charge back.
Something is fishy. Why didn't you try calling him instead of posting this here?

It won't happen to others as long as he has you paying his bills.
Think about it. If I got a call that my bills were showing up on some one elses credit card, I might say "So whats the problem?" Seriously, if I was innocent, I would probably think it was a prank, and ignore you. Just let the authorities deal with it.

He used his Customers credit cards, and he has just tried again with us as ***********.com:mad:
