Well, these are always questionable. He's a member, you're a member. He runs a host directory, you're a host. You didn't request information on hosting directories (my guess), though we don't prohibit members from contacting eachother. On the other hand, we don't permit members to mine members either.

If you're deeply annoyed, we'll notify user...

Not deeply annoyed, as long as it is not an exploit in the board that is being used to mass mail everyone, I'll just send it to /dev/null :)

I don't think there is too much to be worried about. We're all uh sensible human beings.

Twice in 10 days is already considered SPAM.
Twice in 10 hours is SUPER SPAM !
Chicken, if that was a PM it can be considered a terrible SPAM PM.
In other words it is a bad bad PM.

User has been asked to utilize the appropriate advertising forums to get the word out instead of sending you all unsolicited messages. If you get something after 6/26 (or 6/27 in some parts of the world), let us know.

I got it too, and I am not even a host (yet). Stupid!

I just got ANOTHER copy of this. Can we please ban this guy?

This isn't just that he sends a PM to offer something, because why send it twice. This smells like spam, especcially since I didn't request information and PM is for request (made by me) not for offers I didn't ask for. So my vote goes to: Warning + ban if it happens again.

I certainly didn't mind the first one. But, I am mad as hell about the second.

I got one of this bad boys in my email box @ 6:00am Eastern this morning (6/27)...

One doesn't bother me too much (I can always just delete and ignore), but if it comes again, then it's just outright annoying.

Using the delete function is easy enough, so there is no real problem; but I just received two of them.
