I'm making a personal homepage for my friend, just want to see if you know any nice homepage out there that I can take a peek, I like simple, fast loading, yet not too boring. I did a search on yahoo and it gave me bunch of lousy sites. There was a spectacular personal site, something like afred.com but I couldn't get into, may be typo. Anyway, thanks in advance.

By the way, I found this page on Guiness 2001, the most visited homepage, around 50,000 hits/day :confused: . I don't see any special there, the addresss is:

Don't view it in Opera, there are still some bugs in it, but IE and Netscape show it fine.

You may want to look at http://www.coolhomepages.com. I don't necessarily agree that all of the websites listed there are "cool," but there's certainly a lot to look at.
