I have an extra Windows 2003 server setup and have no use for it at my datacenter. I am asking $135 a month for the server which includes the following specs:

P4 3.0 GHz with 1GB Ram
2 - 80GB Harddiscs
3Mb/s metered on bottom 95% of bandwidth
100Mb/s connection
Bandwidth overages are billed at $27 per Mb/s
3Mb/s is around 2TB a month if not more when you do the 95% calculation

Server is located in Houston Texas.

This includes the Windows license in the cost as well as setup.

We will also maintain the server for you for an additional $50 a month if you are interested. Feel free to contact me with any questions

Can it be loaded with Win2k3 Enterprise Edition R2? Plus how much is 1 GB extra RAM?

I happen to own a 2003 Server Standard license so I am not renting the license monthly, to use Win2k3 Enterprise Edition R2 would require us to rent the license monthly which is around $35 a month (guessing). The extra gig of ram would be trivial, maybe 10 a month or flat fee of 100.

Listen to what he has stated. He said he OWNS the license to the STANDARD edition of W2k3. Which means, if you want ENTERPRISE then you'll have to rent it.

So the license that he OWNS is part of the monthly RENT :) The 'I am not renting it' just threw me.
