I am located in Phoenix, AZ. Does anyone know where I might be able to take some classes so I can learn about web design? I would specifically like to learn Dreamweaver and the rest of the Macromedia (Adobe) Studio suite? But I also need classes in basic HTML, CSS and other areas, too. Are there any organizations I could join so I could network with other local webmasters and find out what resources are available locally?

There is Start to Web (http://www.starttoweb.com/) that you might check out. I know she is very familiar with Frontpage and Expressions and she might be just as familiar with Dreamweaver.

But it seems you are wanting to learn Dreamweaver in addition to HTML /CSS. Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG editor, helping you create HTML / CSS code. You should really know / understand HTML code and CSS before attempting to build a website.

WYSIWYG editors can be good as a basic starting point, but at some point, you will want to know more - you will need to know more.
