They wouldn't just abruptly cancel the production of it and not tell us, I'm sure of it... MaB 06-25-2002, 10:10 AM Isn't harddrive failure lovely? We are working on restoring the files... don't worry, we did't die and simplecp has not gone anywhere! :) Thanks, ARETNA 06-25-2002, 05:12 PM FYI, if you want to learn about simpleCP, go to: http://www.simplecp.com :D The Prohacker 06-25-2002, 05:31 PM Originally posted by ARETNA FYI, if you want to learn about simpleCP, go to: http://www.simplecp.com :D Whenever they get SimpleCP backup :D roly 06-26-2002, 04:01 AM Its up now wmac 06-27-2002, 11:53 AM It is great for the price :) I have tested its demo and It is the only free CP (user friendly) arround with so much capabilities. Though advanced users may prefer Webmin, this could be more suitable for newbie users. If they add a mailserver (instead of sendmail) and some other small features it will become great ! Mac MaB 06-27-2002, 11:58 AM SimpleCP definately competes with the Cobalt control panel - its based on cobalt and has 90% of the features but we pack in more like MySQL manager, Subdomain manager, MyAdmin built in, perl syntax checker, basic reseller ability (getting better), built in ip manager, and countless other tidbits - :) Sorry again about the demo, im not sure we are gonna have it back online soon :( wmac 06-27-2002, 12:32 PM Avi, Just continue working on it. I am not very well with Perl. If it was created in PHP I would be more than happy if I could help. Just continue your great work. Mac Sainthax 06-28-2002, 11:40 PM they need to fix the demo :( Gyrbo 06-29-2002, 02:31 AM I personally have some remarks to "It is the only free CP (user friendly) arround". It may be good, and it may look good, but I still think http://wecbp.can-host.com looks a lot better and easier to use. Then again, that's my opinion. iseletsk 06-29-2002, 10:10 AM The correct URL would be: http://webcp.can-host.com/ - and I also heard a lot of good things about it. wmac 06-29-2002, 01:51 PM Yes, WebCP is a good and free panel. But it's installation is a little complicated. SimpleCP was better in my opinion. Mac MaB 06-29-2002, 10:08 PM The demo will be up again this week some time :) Hosting customers come before the control panel :( Anyway, WebCP and SimpleCP - you're choice :) MaB 07-02-2002, 03:26 AM Got the demo back online, sorry for the outage: http://demo.simplecp.com No promises it will be up long :) Theres a hardware issue with the machine its on... :( |
