This is e-onlinedata rates but I dont want to signup with their gateway Authorize.Net , so they told me that I will have to pay $20.00 Monthly Service Fee that I dont like to do.

Here is many company's who promise you a LOT, but in reality they start charging you $40/chargeback fee and increase their fees later - I would'nt go for CHEAPEST solution when it's come to credit card processing - more important is reliable one, you don't want to work with small company who will freak out after you do few transactions of $1000 and place all funds on hold ?

Also over time ALL merchant providers CHANGE their rules - you can get BEST deal today, but year later it's will be different story.

What kind of monthly volume and average ticket do you process? And what payment gateway do you want to utilize (if not Authorize.Net)?

A lot of what determines the best solution for your business depends on the specifics of your account. For instance, if you are processing a lower volume now, you'd want to avoid any monthly costs or terms that lock you in to a given processor.

If you are processing a high volume of sales already, then your per transaction costs are really the bigger portion to look into. And as Steven-V says, it is not just about price but also what kind of service, support and reputation exists for the merchant processor in question.

I.e. do they handle chargebacks in a timely manner and aggressively assist you in representing them? How are risk issues handled? Is the technical support provided in-house or delegated to outside gateway providers? What kind of reporting is provided, and so on and so forth.

If e-online data would stick to those terms in my opinion this is a very good deal.
Make sure
- they will allow you to get MID only (If you want to use USAePay with our solution)
- they will charge you 0.20 PER TRANSACTION not per AUTH. Sometimes it gets tricky with per-auth charges instead of one actually billed item.

Paying $20 for Auth.net a month is not a bad thing. All payment gateways have some monthly charges. The problem that you will be paying per transaction fees also, and this may add another 0.5% to your overall cost.

You might check out Chase/Paymentech as well. Since you mentioned their platforms, see what they have to offer.

Usually a gateway is a set amount. Some gateways will charge a transaction fee as well as the merchant account provider. Some gateways will not charge anything extra.

Or have you contacted any of the USAePAY gateway resellers to see what they can do for you?

I have had a relationship with CDG Commerce since 2004 and never has anything changed in terms of fee's. What you signup for is what you should expect throughout your account's life (at least in my experience with them)

I think PayVerify offers free transactions with USAePAY gateway if using their service.

Oh, believe me, THEY ARE ABLE, thsy just do not want to :)
Anyway, there is a bunch of processing companies around who would open you MID only without gateway.
I'll see if I can send you some links.
