www.gamerz232.org is a gaming downloads site and community getting 700-1300 hits per day. It was started in 1998 as a starcraft site, and has been growing ever since. I have been the only owner/webmaster of it during all 4 years (yes, its been that long). I have put over 10,000 hours of work into gamerz232 alone, at least 2 hours a day. This site is powered mainly by php and mysql, and features advanced anti leach protection. Currently, Gamerz232 is hosting about 8 smaller gaming sites (in return for ad space on said site). Also included with Gamerz232 is www.forums232.com , the official forums of the site.


www.l337list.com is almost brand new. It opened up 4 months ago when I realized that there were no major starcraft topsite lists. I took advantage of the demand and made one. L337list.com took off rather quickly, it now receives 300-700 hits a day. l337list.com is (like gamerz232) powered by php/mysql

the rackshack.net dedicated server you will receive is currently hosting both of the above sites (and all other sites hosted by the above sites). I payed $300 to setup this server. Its specs are:
1 Ghz AMD Duron
512 Mb Ram
20 Gb HDD
400 Gb Transfer per month
Ensim Control Panel
Redhat 7.1 (and obviously apache)


You will receive full ownership of the following domain names (all of which are hosted by the above server, which you also would get ownership of):

Currently, the sites are bringing in a total of about $150 per month via advertising.

That does bring up a good point though, I should have mentioned it. The monthly fee for the rackshack server is about $100. You can easily earn twice that much from ads ($200, thereby yielding $100 profit) if you put some time into the ads (EG better ads in the rotation). However, I dont have that time to offer, so I never did.

Not to be negative, but I'm just curious... you put in 2 hours of work per day, every day, to earn a net $50 a month? That's less than $1 per hour you worked on the site!

It was more of a hobby than for profit; it was also (somewhat) a big learning experience for me. Because of my sites, I have taught myself ASP, PHP, SQL, and have also become fluent in Linux.

The only reason I ever put ad's on my site in the first place was because, originally, I intended on using the money to purchase extra domains and webhosting to continue to allow the site to grow (rather than digging into my own money). eventually though, it did start cracking a profit.



Update: I have an offer of $800 USD for everything, so you will have to match or beat that for me to even consider your offer.

on your gamerz site it said u were paying 65$/month extra in bandwidth cause you used it all up. Please make this clear so we know what we'll really be paying monthly.

You are not allowed to transfer a Rackshack server to someone else, they will not allow it.

So it looks like its just the forums and domain names that are for sale.
