I'm on Earthlink's backup dialup account until they tell my NEW phone carrier of my DSL connection through CoVAD. :angry: I want a free month for this.....argh!

A blistering peak connection of around 22k, averaging closer to 14k most times of the day. When you find yourself watching the duplex lights in the bottom right corner of your screen muttering things like "Move, damn you, move!", you know it's time to look elsewhere for a net connection :) Greg Moore Fiber 06-25-2002, 10:40 AM How long will it be until your DSL is back up? I have Frontier LightningLink; and while it's fast enough for my needs - I just wish I had a bit faster upload. I am looking into Business Lines, as well as faster ones, though I'll stay DSL most likely. JamRover 06-25-2002, 08:07 PM Ugh! More bad news! - Now they have to disconnect my service and reconnect my service because of customer support errors. I told the billing guy this exact thing: "I called technical support various times asking for assistance with disconnect issues amongst other things and I asked three reps. if I changed phone carriers would my DSL be affected. As a result, I have to wait a week and three days to get reconnected. At this point I would like credit." So, he gave me one month free! WooT! |
