FeaturePrice.com is the worst web hosting service I have even seen. They won't let you talk to any people when you have payment billing questions. They make you send an e-mail, they take a while to get back to you, and then they give you vague answers to specific questions like "how do I utilize the 30 day money back guarantee?"

I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!
They are awful and only want your money.

When did you sign up with them? When did you request a refund? When did you send them an email; and when did they respond?

When I was with them it took about 4 hours for responses during the day, and a lot longer if I sent them at night.

They also deactivated my "unlimited" account with I was using 4GB of bandwidth.

I would not recommend them at all!

Did you really expect a host that offers the impossible to stand and deliver on that??

Yes, but when I would send request at like 6PM I wouldn't get a reply until like 12PM the next day. The only time you could email them and get a decent response was in the afternoon, otherwise you are out of luck.

And I try to keep my replies within 2 hours.:D

Aussie Bob - Of course, never trust those unlimited hosts.:)

I never tried featureprice.com but it sounds like they have part time staff if they don't answer emails from 6pm until 12 noon the next day.

that is odd. They have two help desks. One in Austria and one in Florida. I think the main one is austria location.

Yes, they only have a part time staff. Because when you sent a request during the day you get an OK response time(a few hours). But at night they won't answer until the next morning. I actually did like feature price until they started shutting down my site. Especially at 4GB bandwidth usage with is no where close to unlimited.:(

Someone (probably FPstinks) may want to report FeaturePrice.com to unlimband.com.

The prices look okay, and I was actually debating over whether to go with them or not, but I'm glad I'm with my present host :)

On a note, since Featureprice is on Google's key word search as a featured sponser, how many clicks do you think it'll take to knock them off...? :D

I sure hope they are not part time! Hard to do with 150 servers and 15,000 clients. I found this article

Here is my story:

I had pre-paid $84.40 for an annual service, regarding website hosting. I signed up initially because of the live technical support in April of 2002. However, in July 2002, I called technical support only to find out they were now routing calls to technical support and there no longer was a live technician w/ which to speak. Yet, they still call their support "live" with a 3 hour call back. Unacceptable. I called Florida office requesting a refund. They only accept requests via email at billing@featureprice.com Vendor refuses to respond to emails concerning refund. Vendor offered international telephone number for billing resolution. However the number answers with a fax. This number is posted on their website at featureprice.com (International: +43 – 7942-72493 ) They also offer a 1-800 number for international correspondence on their web site but this too is not forwarded to their foreign office. Instead it reaches the Florida office that refuses to assist with billing questions.
