what's 1U?

That's the size of the server. 1U is the smallest size of those rackmount servers. When you colocate the servers, the provider will charge you by the rackspace in the unit of Us.

I wish I had that kind of cash right now (not the 65, but what such a server will go for...). Too bad about the blocked lan cards.

To clear that up, the 2 built in nics are blocked, but we added a PCI nic (Via riser card) and there you can access it from the back :)

Whats the depth of that server, its looks deeper than 19" .
