However i think MS SQL is bit expensive ... I am guessing here, but iweb.com is not available, which could be a reason they switched. iWeb's address was .ca - unfortunately it can sometimes be difficult to run a global business under an exclusively Canadian domain. Again, I could be wrong but it is as good a reason as I can think of. Exactly. We would have chosen iWeb dot COM over iWeb8.com for sure, but it's not available so it was not an option. I explained most of our reasons for the change on our blog (http://blog.iweb.ca/en/). We needed to move to a .com or a generic domain name, the country related domain was an handicap for us in the market. After all I would have an automatic reflex not to buy hosting or whatever product on a web site with a .uk or .fr domain name, but I would probably buy from a company located in the UK or France without even asking where they are located if their web site was on a dot com domain. We have chosen iWeb8 over other options we had for multiple reasons (http://blog.iweb.ca/en/2006/12/from-iwebca-to-iweb8com/469.html) detailed on the blog. Lay the 8 down and you have the infinity .... we also knew people would ask why and I think if you ask why you repeat the name in your mind multiple times and you have more chances or remembering it.
