View Full Version : Anyone have experience with Futurequest.net?
Akshara 06-24-2002, 05:20 AM Hello all,
I've been reading the forums for awhile, gleaning information and overall opinions. I've seen Gearhost spoken about alot, and have contacted them. I also heard good things about Delphicomp.com, and had excellent communication with Matt who was very helpful and responsive. I couldn't commit to the audio media TOS though, since I'm a professional recording artist/producer.
I'm curious if anyone has had experience with Futurequest.net?
I've read some excellent recommendations elsewhere, and am quite impressed with the support information and detailed service descriptions on their website. Most impressed. They aren't as cheap as a lot of the offers I see being thrown around here, but they seem to really have it together. Anybody have an opinon or insight?
Thanks in advance.
:)
iamdave 06-24-2002, 05:34 AM They offer quality service, and Deb, the owner of FutureQuest, is a very nice person. Good luck with them.
Servstra-Sales 06-24-2002, 07:35 AM Akshara, do a search of these forums and I'm sure you will only find good things about them.
Rochen 06-24-2002, 07:38 AM Future Quest seem a reliable and trustworthy host. They have been in this game a while now.
I know a few people who are hosting with FutureQuest and from what they tell me, every good thing you read about them is true. I seldom see criticism about them or their service, maybe only about their pricing but in this business, you often get what you pay for.
The service seems really great but the disk space and the banwdith are too small for the price...

According to who? You? Perhaps people don't mind paying extra for an established company, with family values and top notch service. Not everyone thinks you get everything for free.

Curtis H. 06-24-2002, 06:53 PM I hosted with them several years ago but left because of uptime issues. Again, this was several years ago.
Aside from their bandwidth allotments and hosting fees, I've never seen nor heard bad about FutureQuest.net and are sure you'll be happy with them if a plan fits your needs and budget.
Good luck. :D
Vortech 06-24-2002, 09:04 PM I have meet Deb a few times.. Very nice.. They also have a nice DC in the same building with us.. ;)
Akshara 06-24-2002, 09:26 PM Wow... this is the most amount of positive comments I've read about a single host in one thread ever. And mostly from other hosts as well. Thank you for all for sharing your experiences. It sounds like they are very highly respected by their peers.
:)
GeorgeC 06-25-2002, 05:51 AM Futurequest is definitely very reliable and dependable based on personal experience. In terms of most amount of positive comments, I think Rackspace.com shares that honor as well :)

fatman 06-25-2002, 07:03 AM I have sites at FQ too. They are excellent. Prices are high, though (as everyone else here has observed). :)
TheMMIz 06-25-2002, 10:33 AM FutureQuest.com is one of the best hosting companies out there. They actually boast amazing uptime (somewhere on their site), and actually have the data to back it up. Their FAQ and support is by far one of the best Ive seen. If I had the money my money would be going to Deb and FutureQuest.com :)
