Is it just me, or is anybody else realizing that some ".com" domains DNS data is not announced properly ?

f.e. try this at you servers CLI

nslookup whois.com
Server: 203.216.70.70
Address: 203.216.70.70#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: whois.com
Address: 203.81.45.56

ns3:~# nslookup www.webhostingtalk.com 203.81.45.56
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

I actually had to use a cached proxy to be able to reach WHT and post this message ;-o

Does the same thing with me but I can reach WHT just fine.. and any other site.

O.K everything is back to normal.
The network outage or whatever that was, was actually between Japan and America for ca. 6 hours.
