Im just curious, what computer language did they used to develop cpanel, plesk and webmin?

I hope its not fortran.. :D

cpanel is pretty much all perl

Webmin = perl ((I think))
Plesk = Mainly PHP

ensim = python
hsphere = java servlets and perl

I'm fairly certain that a good deal of cpanel was written in C, though that is just a guess.

At least 99% Perl as far as I can tell.

Oh, Im surprised! I thought its a low level language like C or Assembly.

They probably don't know how to code in C. They almost certainly don't know how to code in (any) assembly language.

A control panel really doesn't require much programming knowledge to produce. Sad as it is, most people judge by aesthetics -- a bug-ridden heap which looks good will win out over a solid system which isn't as pretty.

I should make using PHP a control panel like cpanel and named it jpanel and sell it for $10/month, i hope others will replace their cpanel to my jpanel.. then i can be rich $$$ Bwa ha ha ha!! :D
