Hi,

Afew years ago i registered a .co.uk with anondom (domains by proxy).

They don't seem to offer the service for .co.uk domains anymore.

I've had a look around and godaddy + others exclude .co.uk domains also.

Has something changed? If not does anyone know where i can register one?

Many thanks.

Providing you are an individual and not using the domain comercially then you can opt out of the whois for any UK domain - just use a decent tagholder and they will do it for you, its free.
However if you are a company and or using the domain for commercial purposes then masking the wois is currently against Nominet's rules, if reported you could lose the domain or at the very least have your whois information updated and displayed.

How do I go about opting out?

Thanks.

If your registrar's control panel won't let you do it you should be able to do it via the Nominet web site. (Nominet = the registry). You will have been sent a registration confirmation (by postal mail) with log-in details.
