My last review on WHT (http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=405075) was back in May 2005. As stated in the review I had just joined with Sonataweb.net..

Sonataweb.net was a great, great place to be (I stayed since May 2005 until October 2006) until Terry (the owner) sold the company and left. It went downhill, and it wasn't until a server hack that defaced all the websites on the server I was on into MCM Disney sites, that I left. They promised that I'd be given 2 months free, but I was billed for October anyway. So I cancelled my paypal subscription and left immediately.

I did my searching on WHT, and came across Innohosting hosting offer (http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=558679&highlight=innohosting) in the advertising forums. After some research, I decided to try them out (Reseller Starter Plan), as my webhosting needs was largely the same since my last review, and I did not need overly huge space like 2GB. Signup process had a little problem, but it wasn't a big issue, and I decided not to transfer my files over (and risk transferring any virus/defaced sites from sonataweb.net hacked server) and start from scratch. They had everything I wanted in place, such as uptodate Fantastico I can play with, ImageMagick and etc. All in all, I've been with them a month now and I'm quite happy with their service.

As a result though, I started more projects on my sites and now need a larger space! =P Its not urgent though, so hopefully they have an inbetween plan between 700MB and 2.5GB space. Or offering addon space by blocks of 100MB or something. Just suggestions! ^__^

Hope my reviews helps someone.

Good review, many thanks for this...

I think we need to form ex sonataweb club, sonataweb + Terry was great... I really think whosoever selected sonata at that time (2004~2005) will now require a real good host to be satisfied.. so I really respect your judgment in selecting new host..

do keep us posted on your experience with new host...

Hi NeoGen again. Hope you're doing great at your new host too!

I agree, I was spoiled by sonataweb =) So I looked for similar support channels like helpdesk, forums and of course, the host must have a presence in WHT. Innohosting has a great helpdesk feature, a newly started forums area and the owner (stealthdevil) has a lot of posts/contributions on WHT as well.

Since I can't comment on innohosting uptime yet, I shall update in 4-5 months time! I did find this uptime stats (http://www.webhostingstuff.com/uptime/InnoHosting.html) of innohosting tho and it sounds great =)

Signup problem = Signup process went through, but I did not get an Account Created email (the one which lists your nameservers etc) so I had to request the nameservers myself, and then they gave me the Account Created email. Also, when I logged into WHM, i did not have any functionality, aka no Account Creation, Package Creation etc, so I created a ticket and the issue was solved.

They were minor inconveniences for me as I'm sort of an intermediate user, not a newbie to reseller accounts, so knew what to do. Ultimately problem or no, Innohosting support has been great in answering/solving problems..
