Well back in November I was kicking by with BT Internet, now called BT Openworld with their "Unlimited Access" 56kbps plan. Anyway I ditched that and got cabled through Telewest, well wow, that was great, a whole 512kbps, now that was the best!
Well yesterday I got an email from Telewest saying they now offered a 1Mbit service, so guess what, I upgraded, just couldn't help myself :D
The UK may finally be catching up with the US, well maybe ;)

What are you talking about? We all have t3's going into evey block here in the US, heh.
Your cable company limits your max bandwidth? I guess at least you get a speed not effected by other users. Some places in US are lucky to get cable still. Congrats on your new line. May it allow many more hours of unproductivity.

How much is the 1mbit service? I'm on the 512k @ 25 a month I believe.
Cheers,
Jo

If you don't have any other Telewest service, which I don't the prices are:
512kbps - £29.99 per month
1Mbit - £39.99 per month
The 512kbps service used to be £33.99 per month until a few weeks ago when they gave it a price cut.
If you have other Telewest services like, phone, TV etc. the prices are:
512kbps - £25.99 per month
1Mbit - £35.99 per month
