Hi Folks,
Here is the story:
- we are hosted at iPowerweb including a domainame of which we are the owner/administrator
- we want to move away from them
- so iPowerweb unlocked our domainname at our request
- we even got an EPP code which is now necessary for transferring
- we asked Namecheap to start the transfer
- after some problems we finally receive an e-mail of OnlineNIC that they received a request to transfer a domain out of their services to eNom. If they did not hear from us by 28/11/06 they would transfer the domain out of OnlineNIC.
- I wrote 30-11 to OnlineNIC as we received another two e-mails with the same message as above (still stating the date 28-11 although mail was sent on 30-11??).
- They told us that the domain is currently managed by Powerweb, Inc. who can be reached by www.ipowerweb.com or 310-314-1608.
I thought that OnlineNIC with our approval (as we did not react to their mail as to continue to proceed) was able to transfer the domain out.
What's got iPowerweb to do with it now?
I mailed iPowerweb but as their support isn't great I am afraid I am running in circles here.
Please advice.
MJ
